some things are better left unsaid so i planted it in my head hoped a garden from that seed but it overtook me like a weed what is it that you need? where the gravel meets the streets lines left behind cracks under my feet i'm on top of it so why can't I quit? you said i love the way that you wear it is it staring back at you? my head is far away and I need a place to stay some things are better when they're said so i let it out of my head in the garden trimming weeds because you can't grow if you don't bleed what is it I'm missing?
2.
Would you come down? I’ve been digging this all by myself The floor gave out and now i’m lying here Rolled into town But they caught my baby stealing I know we’ve both been falling down I don’t want to find you Before i am enough I can’t keep it all mine You gotta let it escape some The second round Got me where i was going A big let down I take that weight off slowly Put today behind you And watch it all burn up A dead tree in the front yard And some sugar in your cup I came to when i needed you around Added up my days until i couldn’t hear a sound Phases of myself my love be true If it breaks it isn’t broken, it just don’t know what to do Sunshine on this side of your life Tapping on your window while you go run and hide I know we’ve both been falling down But you can never get caught stealing what you’ve always had around
3.
When i was a kid I sold cigarettes To cops and priests They told me they liked my work ethic But they didn’t like me Soft spoken child in a world that screams Push the button on the cash machine When i was a kid i sold cigarettes It takes forever when you’re gone So quick to turn it back on With the flip I am fallen It takes my head off when you’re gone But every time i sing your song I get the same words wrong It takes forever
4.
You’re a good kid A blurry silhouette Through the window I can’t see through Sleeping in your car I heard that noise before It gave me shivers then But you knew the story I’m looking back only when the light is gone Squeezing my hand i don’t know where it’s from Looking back only when the light is on my side Do you miss your glow? What do i do know? How late are you gonna be? If you haven’t spent it already It’s all it takes just to form a habit Let’s record your song Our friends can come along So i can lie down In its warmth Counting my breaths to make the moment pass Time takes forever but the years don’t seem to last To remember you the sky cries Beautiful colors and your own brand of light Do you still see me now the way that i see you? I’ve been working hard to hide what’s been missing in my life Id give anything to hear you release the basement sound I’m afraid to hide what’s been missing in my life

I feel heavy Take it slowly Learn to breath deep Trapped in a place down low where everybody knows It’s stuck in your head Sofa sitting and it’s feeling lived it Shake it around a few times to see what each one brings Baby i’m a coward But i’m not afraid of you When the world is only half lit it’s our light that’s shining through Your love’s like the ocean But i cant drink the salt in the sea I tried before when i brought you down with me I’ve been waiting For nights when your breath slowly rolls in Left with the fog, my dog, and a familiar low But cut your wing We all wanna hear that voice sing A different song tired of ones that we all know I write down all my second chances On a blank page or an open canvas Am i waiting for the time it takes To forget what comes before If you know you’re in the wrong direction Does it mean you know the way youre heading? Can you see something invisible If you believe that it is there? Have you gone too far if you never even get there?

MIRROR 02:46
Don’t waste your years In a mirror that don’t reflect There’s snakes in your skin And the yard is empty yet When i want to run you hold my hand When i was young you brushed my hair Don’t waste your years In a mirror that don’t reflect It takes up every part of anything that’s left I want to run but you hold my hand When i was young i brushed your hair Is there something that has got you twisted too? Can you tell me what’s the right thing i should do? Am i someone who has got you twisted too? Am i someone who has got you twisted too?
7.
SINK 06:58
There’s a spider in your cheek I pay her no mind The world sharpens your teeth So sick and so kind The sky is turning green It’s warm in my mind Stuck on our favorite frame There’s a spider in your cheek I pay him no mind What’s the price you pay? To get your head right I see you come undone And let your hair down to my floor I watched you wait in line For the flowers that you wore Were you raised by a decade That taught you how to hide it all inside? When you wake to a new day does it feel the same or can you taste it? You grew spring time in a past life Does it hurt to die if you’re born again? So bite down when you feel ageless They can’t change us You won’t change us You and i will never sink

There’s no light At seven thirty on thursday night When blurry eyes Are reaching towards a fire sky You’re body becomes crystal clear The kids all have no fear It breaks your frame by design I wanted to come back to it sometime There’s no light At eleven thirty on sunday night I’ll wait outside And circle the block one more time My body became crystal clear The kids all have no fear It breaks your frame by design I wanted to come back to it sometime There’s no light It’s four thirty on monday morning I’ll take advice And disconnect from worlds of worry But there’s no light If it keeps you going Don’t let that crystal metal eat you alive
